Hello Bethany Bulldog Family,
Welcome to our 79th year of Christian education in the community. I am delighted to have the students back on campus and I am optimistic about a year filled with learning opportunities and experiences. Parents, I strongly encourage you to collaborate with your child’s teacher all year. Working together fosters confidence in our student’s growth academically, socially and Spiritually.
Bethany School is deeply committed to community engagement. There are several events scheduled for this month that my staff and I would like you and your family to attend.
Tuesday, September 15th – PS-5th Back To School Night. Beginning at 6:00 PM, you will have the opportunity to visit your child’s classroom and receive teachers’ expectations for the upcoming school year. We offer two sessions for parents with multiple students; 6-6:30pm and 6:45-7:15pm
Thursday, September 17th – Preschool will have their first Class Color Day. We look forward to seeing all the colors of the rainbow as our toddlers show their school Spirit.
Friday, September 25th – Community Kick-Off… The REMIX! This year’s PTF President, Gy Prestwich, is revamping our first school community event. We will still provide a FREE dinner consisting of grilled burgers with all the fixings. Student Council will sell drinks and snacks. Again, Dinner is complimentary, please click HERE to reserve your burger and let us know you are coming! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and prepare for an enjoyable evening of fun entertainment and fellowship.
Sunday, September 27th – Staff Dedication. Please join us at Bethany Church at 10:30 AM as our staff and school are prayed over.
Fun events are coming in the month of October. Dates, times and more information to come.
- Parent Education Night
- Mother/Son Night
- PS-8th grade Fall Fest
- and more
*Just a reminder, students are not to have cell phones and/or smart watches on them during school hours. This information can be found in our Parent Handbook. If a student uses their cell phone and/or smart watch during school hours, it will be taken and given back at the end of the day.
Finally, our word for the year is “Praise.” Most of our Chapels this year will focus on the teachings of God regarding the significance of praise. Please join us when your schedule permits, every Friday at 8:30 AM.
It is always a great day to be a Bulldog.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hill, Principal
