Al Dorsey is in his thirteenth year teaching at Bethany School and is currently the K-8 PE Teacher and Athletic Director. He has over twenty years of experience and has earned a BA and MA. He enjoys the love that the teachers have for the kids at Bethany.
Mr. Dorsey resides in Long Beach with his wife, Charmaine, and children, Isaiah and Savannah. He attends Bethany Church and enjoys watching sports, playing basketball, and working out.

Amy Coffey is in her tenth year at Bethany and currently works as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper. She has over fourteen years of experience in this field, has earned a BA, and holds a business software certification. She loves working with such an amazing team of leaders and educators.
Mrs. Coffey resides in Long Beach with her husband, Matt. She attends Bethany Church and enjoys swing dancing, traveling, and trying new food and recipes.

Arlene Gale is in her fifth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as our librarian. She has thirty-six years of experience teaching middle school language arts and has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and holds a single subject teaching credential. She loves the staff and students at Bethany School!
Mrs. Arlene resides in Long Beach with her husband, Brent, and has two grown children, Kirk and Katie. She enjoys reading, volunteering, and meeting new people.

Christina Smoot is in her sixteenth year teaching at Bethany School. She has over seventeen years of teaching experience, has earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts, and holds a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves that she gets to fulfill her calling as a teacher in an environment that allows her to be open about her faith in Jesus Christ. She loves being able draw the Word of God into her daily conversations with students, staff, and parents. She is grateful for an administration that relies on the guidance of Holy Spirit and not just their own strengths.
Mrs. Smoot resides in Lakewood with her husband, Ryan and daughters, Coralyn and Raylan. She attends Arbor Road Church and enjoys walking as exercise, organizing, and going to the lake to cruise in her boat.

Edna Beck is in her thirtieth year at Bethany School and is currently serving in an administrative assistant role. She served Bethany in a volunteer role before being hired and has many years of experience as well as early childhood education credits. She loves the staff, the church, and being around others that have a heart for Bethany.
Mrs. Beck resides in Lakewood with her husband, Gary, and has a daughter, Erica, and two grandchildren. She attends Bethany Church and enjoys trips on the Harley, playing board games and cards, and relaxing at home with her dog, Roo.

Jonathan Trogman is in his second year at Bethany School and is part of the day care staff. He has a year of experience in education and is pursuing a multiple subject teaching credential. He loves fostering connections with the students. He says that working at Bethany inspired him to pursue a career in elementary teaching.
Mr. Jonny resides in Lakewood with his wife and attends Bethany Church. He enjoys photography, weightlifting, and jiu jitsu.

Kacie Cobb is in her fourth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as our middle school science and health teacher. She has over six years of experience in the educational field and has earned a BA in Communication Public Affairs as well as a minor in Psychology. She also has a multiple subject teaching credential and a Master of Arts in education. She loves all the wonderful students and staff and feels that there is a great sense of community. She couldn’t be more blessed to be a part of Bethany.

Lyn Durst is in her sixth year of volunteering at Bethany School. She helps out with our lunch program and Thursday snack sale. She loves all the kids and watching them grow up. Mrs. Lyn resides in Long Beach and has a daughter, son, and five grandchildren.

Michelle Veazey is in her seventh year at Bethany School and is currently our B.E.S.T. Director. She has over thirty-one years of experience in the field of education and has worked in early education for twenty years as a preschool teacher and preschool director. She has earned early education credits and holds a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Master of Arts. She loves working in a faith-filled environment with staff that love the Lord, have a passion to help students be the best they can, work hard, and are fun to work with at Bethany.
