Mrs. Tonia Z. Hill, Principal
Al Dorsey is in his eighth year teaching at Bethany School and is currently the PE Teacher and Athletic Director. He has over 15 years of experience and has earned a BA and MA. He enjoys the love that the teachers have for the kids at Bethany.
Mr. Dorsey resides in Long Beach with his wife, Charmaine, and children, Isaiah and Savannah. He attends Bethany Church and enjoys watching sports, playing basketball, and working out.

Amy Coffey is in her fifth year at Bethany and currently works in preschool administration and bookkeeping . She has over nine years of experience in this field, has earned a BA, and holds a business software certification. She loves working with such an amazing team of leaders and educators.
Mrs. Coffey resides in Long Beach with her husband, Matt. She attends Bethany Church and enjoys swing dancing, traveling, and trying new food and recipes.

Amy Zahariades is in her eighth year teaching at Bethany School and is currently the middle school science/math enrichment teacher. She has over twenty-two years of teaching experience, has earned a BS in Biochemistry with a minor in Bible, and holds a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves the amazing students, parents, and staff at Bethany. She believes we care for each other like a family and always look out for the best interest of others. Students receive a strong Biblical and academic foundation at Bethany while having fun through social events and activities.
Mrs. Zahariades resides in Cypress with her husband, Damon. She attends Cornerstone Church, and enjoys going to the El Dorado dog park with Rocky, her Havanese. She also enjoys going out to dinner with her husband and having game nights with friends.

Dana Stewart is in her first year at Bethany School and is currently an instructional aide for first grade and the model UN advisor for middle school. She has three years of teaching experience, has earned a BA in International Affairs and a MA in Middle East Studies. She loves that Bethany is like a family, and that we love these kids like they are our own. She loves that teachers and staff treat students like real, whole people, not just a body in a seat or a cog in a machine. As a Christian school, she can truly care for and teach students’ minds, bodies, hearts, and souls. She feels that it is so encouraging to work in an environment that is grounded in Scripture.
Mrs. Stewart resides in Long Beach with her husband, Tim and their four children. She attends Portico Church and enjoys baking, crafting, and reading.

Donna Morici is in her seventh year teaching at Bethany School and is currently the Technology Coordinator. She has over thirty-three years of teaching experience, has earned a BS, and holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She loves the teamwork and the incredible professionalism of the top notch educators at Bethany.
Mrs. Morici resides in Huntington Beach with her husband and has a son whom she is incredibly proud of. She attends First Christian Huntington Beach and enjoys painting, reading books, riding her bicycle at the beach, and enjoying life with friends… especially if coffee is involved.

Jennifer Long is in her second year at Bethany School and is currently serving as a preschool aide and day care staff. She has over six years of experience and has earned a BA. She loves that the people she works with are genuinely kind, caring, and professional. She loves working in a place that holds Christ at the center of everything we do. She believes that each and every one of us are invested in the education and spiritual formation of our students. She has really enjoyed getting to know many of our Bethany School families, both on the preschool side and the elementary side, and is excited to see our community grow.
Mrs. Long resides in Long Beach with her husband, Alex, and three children, Charlotte, Joshua, and Katie. She enjoys reading to children, cooking/baking, and quilting.

Kellyn Miller is in her fifth year at Bethany School and is currently the middle school language arts teacher. She has over fifteen years of experience and has earned an AA. She has earned a BA and MS and is presently pursuing a single subject teaching credential. She loves the ability to walk this journey with so many students and their families.
Mrs. Miller attends First Christian Church of Compton with her husband, Eric, and their children, Kamren, Kaydence, and Eric Jr. She enjoys writing, roller skating, and candle making.

Kristen Huff is in her eleventh year teaching at Bethany School and is currently the education specialist and Opportunity Program teacher. She has over thirteen years of teaching experience, has earned a BA in Psychology and a MS in Special Education, and holds an Education Specialist credential. She loves the kids and her colleagues. The kids bring smiles and lots of laughter, are always challenging her to stretch her skills as a teacher, and make every day and every extra hour worth it. She feels that her colleagues, teachers, aids, and administration are an incredible group of people. She learns from them, grows with them, has opportunities to teach them about “her kids,” and really values them all as members of the Bethany School and Bethany Preschool team.
Mrs. Huff resides in Lakewood with her husband, Dan, and daughter. She attends Bethany Church, and enjoys going to the beach and working on family photo books as well as cooking and baking.

Lauren Whygle is in her six year teaching at Bethany School and is currently teaching Middle School math. She has over thirteen years of teaching experience, has earned a BA and MA, and holds a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves the close community and loving staff at Bethany.
Mrs. Whygle resides in Westminster with her husband, Paul, and children, Emily and Eli. She attend First Christian Church of Huntington Beach and enjoys traveling, crafting, and spending time with her friends and family.

Megan Koet is in her sixth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as an instructional aide for K-8 and is a part of the day care staff. She has over seven years of experience and has earned her AA. She loves that at Bethany we are truly a family.
Mrs. Koet resides in Long Beach with her husband, Charnold, and three children, Taylor, Makenzie, and Harper. She attends Bethany Church and enjoys watching her children doing the activities they love, reading, and going on dates with her husband.

Pamela Armstead is in her sixth year at Bethany School and is currently the daycare supervisor and an instructional aide. She has over six years of experience and has earned an AA. She is presently attending California Baptist University pursuing her BA in English. She loves the family atmosphere at Bethany. She believes that the staff genuinely love the students. She loves that we are not only able to live godly openly, but are able to share Christ with the students and parents.
Mrs. Pam resides in Sylmar with her husband, Michael, and two children. She enjoys singing and writing.

Tim Stewart is in his fifth year teaching at Bethany School and is currently teaching Middle School history, Bible, and digital media literacy. He has over seven years of secondary school teaching, has earned a BA in history and Master’s in education, and holds a single subject teaching credential. He loves the camaraderie that Bethany School provides.
Mr. Stewart resides in Long Beach with his wife, Dana, and their four children. He attends Portico Church and enjoys cooking, strategy board games/war games, and traveling.
