She has over sixteen years of teaching experience, has earned a BA as well as a minor and specialty in visual and performing arts. She also holds a multiple subject teaching credential. Angelica Rodriguez is in her first year teaching at Bethany School and is currently a first grade teacher. She has over five years of experience in education, has earned a BA, and holds a multiple subject teaching credential from Cal State Long Beach. She loves that Bethany is a Christ centered educational setting for students to grow confidence in themselves mentally and spiritually, and that it provides support for students in their education along with supportive and passionate staff.
Miss Rodriguez resides in Long Beach and attends Calvary Chapel. She enjoys painting, sewing, and building things from scratch such as desks, reptile enclosures, and shelves. She loves to dance and play the piano as well.

Christina Smoot is in her fourteenth year teaching at Bethany School. She has over fifteen years of teaching experience, has earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts, and holds a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves that she gets to fulfill her calling as a teacher in an environment that allows her to be open about her faith in Jesus Christ. She loves being able draw the Word of God into her daily conversations with students, staff, and parents. She is grateful for an administration that relies on the guidance of Holy Spirit and not just their own strengths.
Mrs. Smoot resides in Lakewood with her husband, Ryan and daughters, Coralyn and Raylan. She attends Arbor Road Church and enjoys walking as exercise, organizing, and going to the lake to cruise in her boat.

She has three years experience in education and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Spelman College. She loves the Christ-like minds and hearts of both the children and the staff. Michelle Veazey is in her fifth year at Bethany School and is currently our education specialist. She has over thirty years of experience in the field of education and has worked in early education for twenty years as a preschool teacher and preschool director. She has earned early education credits and holds a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Master of Arts. She loves working in a faith-filled environment with staff that love the Lord, have a passion to help students be the best they can, work hard, and are fun to work with at Bethany.
