Preschool

Bethany Preschool serves children two and a half years of age and older who are fully potty trained. Preschool children learn and thrive in our caring and safe environment. Our staff provides childcare in an active and fun atmosphere while focusing on the social, academic, and spiritual development of the children they serve. Our staff is seasoned with experience and have a heart for their calling in early childhood education. 

The goal of Bethany Preschool is to be an extension of your family, building on the command given to parents in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Our program is designed to instill positive character traits, build on the fundamentals needed for elementary school, provide opportunities for the arts, specifically performances, and provide a well-rounded environment that celebrates godly values.

Pre-K

Bethany Pre-K serves children 4 to 5.5 years of age. Preschool children continue their academic learning, in preparation for entering kindergarten the following school year, and engage in play to develop communication and interpersonal skills. Our staff provides an environment for their students to learn and grow socially, academically, and spiritually. Our staff is determined to provide children in their care for the next level in their education while discerning student needs as young learners. 

Our goal of Bethany Pre-K is  to provide schooling that bridges the years between preschool and elementary education.

Like our preschool program, this program is designed to instill positive character traits, build on the fundamentals needed for elementary school, provide opportunities for the arts, specifically performances, and provide a well-rounded environment that celebrates godly values.

Kindergarten

Bethany School’s kindergarten program serves children who turn five years on or before September 1st. Kindergarten students are taught the standards required to move them onto the next grade level as well as how to be a student that can work independently while negotiating with their peers. Students progress and grow in a structured and explorative environment. Our teachers provide instruction in all academic areas and an environment based on routine for the safety and security of the child. Our kindergarten teachers are devoted to providing an overall forward movement to their students’ success.

Our goal of Bethany School’s kindergarten program is to prepare students for first grade in academics, responsibility, independence, and appropriate peer interaction.

Our program is designed to give elementary school students the foundation needed for a successful transition to the next grade level while offering experiences that develop relationship building and student success. In addition, our future focused education program is designed to explore and spark an interest in careers through a broad exposure to interests and careers by discussing the importance of community helpers. Teachers also help students to identify their interests, strengths, traits and other characteristics as well as their spiritual gifts.

Elementary

Bethany School’s elementary program serves children kindergarten through fifth grade. Elementary students are taught the standards required to move them onto the next grade level while developing a sense of community within our school. Students develop important work habits and the tools for success in academics. Our teachers provide instruction in all academic areas and are experienced in meeting the needs of each student individually. Our elementary teachers are committed to providing a rigorous academic environment to both challenge and propel students to forward success.

Our goal of Bethany School’s elementary program is to prepare students for the next grade level while providing the tools necessary for independent study and academic progress.

Our program is designed to give elementary school students the foundation needed for the successful progression of grade levels while meeting the academic standards for each grade level. In addition, our future focused education program is designed to explore and spark an interest in careers through a broad exposure to interests (kindergarten through second grade) and discover and build strategies to develop personal skills (third through fifth grade). Teachers help students to identify their interests, strengths, traits and other characteristics as well as their spiritual gifts. Differentiation based on grade level is taken into consideration.

Middle School

Bethany School’s middle school serves students sixth through eighth grade where rigor and depth are important components of Bethany academics. Helping students build sound skill sets via advanced curriculum allows for success in high school. Through problem solving, collaborative projects, design thinking, online discussion posts, and Socratic seminars. Bethany students learn valuable lessons enabling each student to strive competitively with their peers.

Our program is designed to give middle school students diverse experiences in real life skills through a variety of future focused electives.

Our future focused education program is designed to empower students by enabling them to plot a course for their future. Through career exploration, research, interviews, mentorship, portfolio building as well as many unique individual tests including a career test, spiritual gifts test, and multiple intelligence tests. Teachers guide students in their work toward formulating a career path as they prepare to enter high school while providing opportunities for individual discovery and interest seeking while appealing to different learning styles.

Bethany's B.E.S.T. Program

Bethany School’s B.E.S.T. Program serves students with diverse learning needs in kindergarten through eighth grade. Bethany’s B.E.S.T. students are provided additional support alongside their current grade level instruction. Students are offered services and academic coaching to facilitate success in reading/comprehension, math, executive functioning skills and any other areas that a student may require additional assistance.

Our goal is that students will gain confidence in themselves and their abilities which will in turn help them to unlock their true capabilities and achieve academic success.

Our program is designed to give Bethany School students assistance in their greatest area of need. Bethany’s B.E.S.T. teachers then give students intentional instructional time beyond their classroom instruction. Mrs. Veazey, our education specialist, is there to communicate with administration, teachers and families for the success of each student.

Day Care

Bethany School’s day care program serves children kindergarten through eighth grade. Children are cared for outside of regular school hours for an additional fee.  Morning daycare is available from 6:30am to 8:00am and afternoon daycare is available from 3:30pm to 6:00pm. 

Our goal of Bethany School’s day care program is to provide a safe environment for children before and after school. Our program is designed for working parents who need childcare in addition to regular school hours.

Our program gives students supplementary activities and options for play. Staff oversees students, monitors play, and provides support like homework club, across kindergarten to eighth grade levels.

Summer Program

Bethany School’s Summer Program serve preschool-age children and children finishing Kindergarten through 5th Grade.  Children are educated across all curriculum areas. This allows them to retain the information taught the prior year as well as advance in their understanding of subjects in preparation for the upcoming grade level. Our staff provides instruction in all academic areas and a continued safe environment based on routine in which each student can learn. Our summer staff also incorporates a variety of hands on experiences designed to enhance the learning experience of each student. 

Our goal of Bethany School’s Summer Program is to provide a safe environment for continued learning and fun throughout the summer break. 

Our program is designed to give children the foundation needed for a successful transition to the next grade level while offering experiences that develop relationship building, student success and academic enrichments. In addition, our themed programs provide opportunities for a future-focused mindset, career path experiences, hands-on activities to enhance learning and overall development in both academics and social-emotional health. Teachers also help students to identify their interests, strengths, traits and other characteristics as well as their spiritual gifts.

Athletics

Bethany Athletics serves students third through eighth grade. Our athletes learn the rules and regulations related to a variety of sports including flag football, basketball, and volleyball. Our students, both boys and girls, participate in competitions with other local Christian schools. Our coaching staff provides an introduction to fundamental skills and is dedicated to improvement among their players. Our staff displays a genuine “love of the game” that they pass onto their teams and have a heart for their calling to coaching.

The goal of Bethany Athletics is to expose students to a variety of sports, teach the skills necessary to be successful, build a sense of teamwork, and provide competition experience.

Our program is designed to not only teach a variety of sports skills, but life skills as well. We desire to instill the values of communication, leadership, and unity.
