Dear Bethany Families,
Parent/Teacher Conferences are officially completed. We know where each student stands academically and we are ready to move forward. “Thank you!” parents for taking the time to meet with your child’s teacher. The success of each student is built on a firm partnership between parent and teacher. It is because of this key relationship each student at Bethany School will excel.
The annual Color Run is quickly approaching. It will be held Friday, November 6th; you will receive more information soon. Bethany School is one campus comprised of 5 vital schools; Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, Opportunity Program, and Bethany’s Distance Learning. We are a Future Focused campus. All donations and monies raised will be used to improve our schools technology, restructure the Preschool playground, and build on our student body services not only for the present, but for future years to come. Parents you, the students and the staff are all doing such a phenomenal job of bringing in donations. There is still time to fundraise and there are fabulous prizes to give away. We are all in this together!
This Friday, October 30th your child’s classroom will have a ‘Fall Festival’ party. All students are able to wear a fun fall costume. Examples of costumes students can wear look like the following;
- Favorite Bible person
- Community helper
- Crayon
- Angel
- Bob the Builder
- Pokémon
- Favorite book character
- Favorite teacher
- …you get the picture J
Some classrooms are wearing specific clothing for their fall party. Your child’s teacher will communicate this to you.
Please know that I am praying for every student and the families being represented here at Bethany. I am praying for your homes, your finances and your Spiritual growth in God. We are experiencing unprecedented and uncharted times…but we have the ultimate handbook. We have the Bible and God’s word says to be anxious for nothing, Philippians 4:6(a). He gives us peace that passes all understanding Philippians 4:7(a). God tells us to be strong and courageous Joshua 1:9(a). All we need is faith, the size of a mustard seed Matthew 17:20.
Parents, you will more than “make it” through this year. God is going to bless you and you will be able to be a blessing to others. I want to encourage you to hold your head up, continue to take care of your wonderful children and walk in confidence! You are doing a great job.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tonia Z. Hill, M.A.
