Hello Bethany Families,
Let me begin by saying my staff and I are praying for the safety of the Ukrainian people as well as the leadership of Russia. We know God’s sovereignty will prevail.
Parents,
March is going to be an excitingly busy month. Make sure to mark your calendars with all the festivities taking place beginning with ‘Bethany Glows After Dark’. This Thursday is Open House from 6-7:30pm. The evening will begin with an intimate music recital from our music department from 5:30-6pm.
SAVE THE DATE: Monday, June 6th Bethany Bulldogs Winds & Strings Orchestra Gala featuring Downbeat! A Music Enrichment Club. More info to come.
Friday, March 11th is Food Truck/Movie Night from 5:30-8pm. Be prepared to purchase delish cuisines and make sure to bring a chair and blanket. We will enjoy a family fun film under the stars.
Dads it is your turn! Preschool will honor you the week of March 14th. Preschool Dads will be able to sign up and read their favorite Dr. Seuss book Monday through Friday in their child’s preschool classroom. PTF will end the week Friday, March 18th with a school wide Dad’s Donut Day & Chapel.
Friday, March 25th is round two of PTF’s ‘Parent Night Out’. Sign your kiddos up for an evening of games, pizza, crafts, and fun on campus after hours from 6-9pm.
We will conclude the month, Thursday, March 31st, with a Bulldog Spelling Bee for the 1st through 7thgrade finalists. Trophies, ribbons, and prizes will be awarded. If you would like to volunteer at this all day event, please leave your name and number in the front office.
Other events throughout the month of March include,
– 3/3 Preschool Awards Chapel 8:30-9am
– 3/4 Noon Dismissal: All students, preschool through 8th grade must be picked up by 12 noon. Daycare will not be available.
– 3/18 Color Day: PTF Spirit Day. Wear your Color Run colors
– 3/14-3/18 Bethany Scholastic Book Fair (volunteers are needed!)
– 3/15 Book Fair & Ice Cream Social Night 5:30-7:30pm
– 3/21-3/30 East Coast Trip: 8th grade students will head out for extended hands on learning at
our Nation’s Capital.
