Kristen Huff is in her twelfth year teaching at Bethany School and is currently the education specialist and Opportunity Program teacher. She has over fourteen years of teaching experience, has earned a BA in Psychology and a MS in Special Education, and holds an Education Specialist credential. She loves the kids and her colleagues. The kids bring smiles and lots of laughter, are always challenging her to stretch her skills as a teacher, and make every day and every extra hour worth it. She feels that her colleagues, teachers, aids, and administration are an incredible group of people. She learns from them, grows with them, has opportunities to teach them about “her kids,” and really values them all as members of the Bethany School and Bethany Preschool team.
Mrs. Huff resides in Lakewood with her husband, Dan, and daughter. She attends Bethany Church, and enjoys going to the beach and working on family photo books as well as cooking and baking.
Mark 12:29-31 (NIV) “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
