Carrie DeYoung is in her thirteenth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as a third grade teacher. She has over twelve years of experience in the education field. She has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and holds a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves being able to teach the kids about Jesus and show them how much purpose, love, and security there is in living life as a child of God. She feels so fortunate to work with a staff that also feels the same way.
Ms. DeYoung resides in Lakewood and has three children. She attends Bethany Church and enjoys gardening, camping, and knitting.
Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
