Hello Bethany Bulldogs,
March has quickly come upon us. I write this letter as I travel with the fifth grade students on the Grand Canyon tour. I completed this trip twice with two of my children over 17 years ago and it is still amazing. Seeing the Hoover Dam, traveling Route 66, seeing a meteor crater, God’s masterpiece the Grand Canyon, and more is evidence of God’s majesty.
This month is filled with exciting community events at Bethany. We have begun celebrating books with Mrs. Arlene. Take advantage of our scholastic book fair and help cultivate lifelong readers from March 6th through March 14th. Don’t forget about our fun dress up days the week of the book fair:
- Monday, March 10th – Dress like a Dr. Seuss Character
- Tuesday, March 11th – Dress like a Book Character
- Wednesday, March 12th – Crazy Hair Day
- Thursday, March 13th – Dress in your favorite sports gear, jerseys, etc.!
Get your lawn chairs, blankets, and prepare to purchase dinner as we enjoy community at our Food Truck Movie Night. This Friday, March 7th at 5:30 pm we will hunker down with friends, family and good food while watching The Wild Robot. Student Council will sell fun items too as they raise money for their Disney Leadership Conference on April 10th.
PTF is celebrating our awesome Dads on Friday, March 14th with donuts and a special Chapel. Wear something green and join us for Dads Donut Day and Chapel from 7:45-9:30 am. It’s always a fun time. Also, students save your green and wear it again Monday, March 17th for St. Patrick’s Day.
It’s back! Bethany is hosting the annual Spelling Bee on Tuesday, March 25th. We will have the best and the brightest from other private schools and of course our Bulldog scholars, Let’s go!
If you’re not aware our boys varsity basketball is undefeated. They will have their final championship game while I’m away and I’m so bummed. I am going out on a limb and I will give an early congratulations on a win! Great job Mr. Dorsey and Mr. Jason for your hard work this season. Kudos to our third grade teacher Miss Kacie Cobb and Mrs. Davis for a great year in Volleyball. We love and support our Bethany Bulldogs sports program.
Parents thank you for making Bethany School your school of choice. I am grateful for each of you. Have a wonderful March!
It’s always a great day to be a Bulldog!
