Letters From Tonia

K-8 Day Care Changes

Dear Bethany Families,

Today there was a surge of 10,000 reported cases for the Coronavirus in the Los Angeles County alone.  Bethany School must do its part to protect the students, staff and school.  Effective tomorrow Wednesday, December 9th there will be a change in afternoon daycare.  AM Daycare will remain the same, we will continue to open at 6:30am.  PM Daycare will end at 4pm.  Students K-5th grade must be picked up by 3:30pm unless they have a sibling in middle school.  Middle School students must be picked up by 4pm.  The campus will be closed at 4pm.

As a reminder, all students must wear a mask to school and will be encouraged to wear their mask all day except for lunch and physical education. Parents I ask that you keep your child home if they exhibit any symptoms of being sick with the flu or similar signs of COVID-19 (chills, fever, continued cough, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.). We have to make sacrifices for the greater good.

Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your child’s primary education.  We want to work together to keep our school open and safe.  It is a privilege and honor to be open; we do not take this lightly during such difficult times.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Tonia Z. Hill, M.A.

Principal
