Happy New Year Bethany!
On behalf of my staff and I, “Thank You”, for all the wonderful gifts you showered us with for the holidays. We are grateful.
Welcome 2022. Bethany School is moving forward in full anticipation of what God has in store for this New Year.
We begin 2022 with a missions trip for our middle school students. Sunday, January 2nd middle school will head back to Dinuba, California for a week at Gleanings For The Hungry. GFTH is a missions building volunteer community service program where our students are able to make an “internal impact on a hurting world.” Pastor Jacob, the junior high & high school Pastor for Bethany Church, will join our students closing each day with in-depth spiritual fireside chats. What a time for giving and growing.
During the second week of January, Bethany will launch an early celebration of Bethany’s 75th year of Christian education in the community. The celebration begins with an early discounted fall 2022-2023 registration. Beginning the week of January 10th, registration is $75 for one week ending Friday, January 14th at 12 noon. All who register this week will receive a 75th year swag bag. Don’t miss out!
Monday, January 10th at 6pm is the PTF kick off meeting for the 2nd semester of school. For this meeting PTF stands for ‘Pretty Tasty Fajitas’. Lylah Rae’s Catering is providing sizzling FAJITAS. The first 75 people in attendance will enjoy complimentary authentic FAJITAS and all the fixings. Parents this is another way to partner with Bethany and remain current with events and surprises during the month.
Friday, January 21st from 6 to 9pm is our 2nd Parents Night Out! Three hours of fun. We will only accept 75 students. The cost is $25 for the first child and $15 for each additional child. Sign-ups begin January 10th.
Preschool will have International Travels this month. Each of the 6 classrooms will learn about a specific country all month then set sail and “visit” the countries learning important facts about each. With passports in hand, our Preschoolers are going places!
On January 25th middle school will host a Middle School Preview Day for our 4th and 5th grade students. We will also host a Parent Town Hall Q & A that same evening for parents interested in Bethany’s phenomenal Middle School program. More information to come.
The flu season is upon us. Parents you are required to conduct a health screening of your child prior to dropping them off at school. Monitor your child for flu, cold and COVID like symptoms. If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms, they must stay home and/or quarantine for the health and safety of our campuses.
Fever
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Severe headache
Colored nasal discharge
etc.
Please know we will make it successfully through another winter with common sense decisions. It begins with you.
As we enter the New Year with new goals, ideas and expectations keep in mind, God’s mercies are new every day; not annually. God knew our humanness would require daily intervention and through His mercy, we have the opportunity to make better choices each day.
Again, Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tonia Hill
Principal
