Letters From Tonia

February Wrap-Up & Campus News

Dear Parents,

What a fun month it has been for moms, dads and grandparents to stop by and visit the Scholastic Book Fair. Our Librarian, Mrs. Arlene Gale, has done a phenomenal job and the volunteers have been amazing!  Every book purchased will assist in making our library even better.

Monday, March 1st at 6pm is our PTF meeting. Dinner will be provided. Come receive information about the school, upcoming events and more. We need your voice to help make a difference in our school.

Open Registration began last week.  So many new wonderful families have signed up to receive a quality education in a safe nurturing environment. Parents if you have not yet enrolled your child keep in mind the following;

  • Classes are filling up quickly.
  • Early Bird discount ends March 5th – $100 off elementary and middle school registration, $50 off preschool registration. (Discount is for currently enrolled families as is for re-enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year.)
  • Summer registration is taking place now.
  • If you pay the 2021-2022 tuition fees in full by August 1st you will receive 8% off the total amount.

In preparation for the 2021-2022 school year, new math and language arts curriculum are being purchased. We are also preparing for our Mid-Cycle visit from the ACSI Accreditation Team.  As a Future Focused campus it is our goal to remain on the cusp of education and technology.  We will continue to work in excellence to meet the standards required for our campus and our students.

Aesthetic changes are taking place on our campus. Funds from our successful Color Run will be used to transform the preschool playground.  Preschool Lead teachers are receiving new laptops. New wind sail canopies for the elementary/middle school playground are coming, padding under the playground equipment will be updated and reinforced, new technology and software for staff and students is being purchased, great “on campus” field trips and curriculum enhancers are being put into place to extend classroom learning – so much is in store for the second semester. Additionally capital improvements will begin as part of the campus will be reroofed. Bethany is shining and improving from the inside out!

Color Run prize winners will begin receiving their prizes this.  Mrs. Whygle, our PTF President, has scheduled dates for all the fun and your child’s teacher will contact you concerning these events.  Again, thank you all for your donations.

Save The Date: Bethany School Sunday will take place Sunday, March 21st. Our Senior Pastor, Jeff Levine, will have an encouraging message specifically for you.  Daycare will be provided;   more info to come.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Tonia Hill
