“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in peace!” Amen! Psalm 133:1
Dear Bethany Family,
The holidays are upon us. In the blink of an eye, Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas is inundating our lives. My prayer is that we do not lose focus of what matters most…Family.
As we enthusiastically embrace the holidays and begin to travel, please acquaint yourselves with the most recent updates from the California Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Bethany School requires each family to complete a personal screening in your homes daily before bringing your child to school. Your screening will consist of checking for flu-like and/or cold symptoms;
- Colored nasal discharge
- Nonstop coughing
- Fever
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Severe headache
- Loss of taste and smell
If your child displays any of the above symptoms, you are required to keep him/her home. If your child misses 3 consecutive days of school due to an illness, please have him/her cleared by their pediatrician prior to returning to school.
MEDICAL MASK EXEMPTION
Pursuant to the California Department of Public Health, you may request a Medical Mask Exemption for your child. The form will be available in the office and sent home on Monday when we return. If you elect to fill out this form, you must submit it to the school office along with a note from your child’s pediatrician for exemption. This information will be kept private.
Please note all Bethany School teachers, staff, parents, and vendors are required to wear masks indoors while on campus.
Thank you for partnering with me to keep our school doors open. Unfortunately the above requirements have caused division among family members and even close friends. Regardless of your beliefs and political stance, my job as Principal is to use wisdom and keep our school doors open as we have done in the past and will continue to do so moving forward.
If you have any questions, I have a warm open door policy and would love to speak with you. Bring coffee.
God bless each of you with good health and prosperity during the holiday seasons.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tonia Hill
Principal
