Dear Bethany Families,
Easter Sunday is approaching and we joyously get to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. As we continue to learn about ‘Forgiveness’, Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection is our ultimate example. This Friday Middle School has prepared a wonderful chapel with the help of K—5th grade. It is entitled ‘An Adventure Story Through the Book of Hebrews’. It begins at 8:30am, preschool will participate, and you are more than welcome to attend.
Congrats to our 3rd through 8th grade students as they have completed State testing. I know each student did his/her absolute best. Congratulations are also in order for preschool as their Spring Sing performance was fantastic!
Parents when we return from spring break we have an opportunity to honor Bethany’s amazing educators. The entire Bethany staff has impacted the growth of your child; academically, socially and Spiritually. Below are mere suggestions how you can participate in celebrating your child’s teacher as well as Instructional Aide.

-Tuesday ~ Gift Card
-Wednesday ~ Card and/or Poem ‘Morning Poetry Vibes’ Parents, you are welcome to attend 8:30am
-Thursday ~ Teacher’s favorite snack
-Friday ~ Be creative. Surprise you child’s teacher and Instructional Aide (I will provide a scrumptious southern style lunch for the entire staff on this day. Shhh, it’s a secret!)

May 31st * Preschool & Pre-K field trip to ‘Wonder of Dinosaurs’, Redondo Beach, CA
June 6th * The Doris Henthorn Arts Gala @5:30pm appetizers
We will honor the late Mrs. Henthorn via our music program, singing and artistic expression. There will be exquisite baskets to raffle and items auctioned. If you have an auction item you can donate to the gala for example; vacation home getaway, yacht for lunch, memorabilia, or unique regalia, please see me immediately. More information to come.

June 14th * Pre-K graduates field trip to ‘Kidz Town’, Lakewood, CA
June 15th * School wide CARNIVAL, whoo hoo!
June 16th * 8th Grade Graduation @8:45am and last day of school, noon dismissal.
