Letters From Tonia

December School Wide Letter

I am so blessed to serve in the role of Principal for Bethany School.  It is a humbling role that I do not take lightly.  My staff and I pray for you and the students continually.  Can I also tell you that your children bring us joy…and a few challenges?  God has a plan and purpose for each student enrolled and we want to do our part.

I would like to acknowledge Mrs. Whygle and her team with the success of the Color Run.  Over $70,000 was raised; parents and staff you rock!  The Preschool will be blessed with a mini playground makeover as well as technology upgrades for the Lead teachers.  Both elementary and middle school will receive technological upgrades that will assist with curriculum, online learning, Bethany’s Distance Learning and more.

For your enjoyment, the Staff and students have prepared Christmas entertainment for your viewing pleasure during the holidays.  Preschool classrooms have prepared 5 heartfelt performances and our K-8 students took on the task of performing the musical ‘Noelle the First’.  Please click on the link and enjoy.  Also, to help you transition into the new school year an updated calendar will accompany this letter.  Make sure to read and make changes as needed.

If your travels take you away during the holiday seasons please make sure to be safe, wear a mask and wash your hands.  The ultimate goal is for every student to return on January 4, 2021 in optimum health to a safe campus.  If for any reason you or your child is exposed to someone who tests positive for COVID-19 or you suspect that you may have been exposed or you begin to show symptoms of COVID-19, please self quarantine. We must all do our part.

God loves us so much that He ensured a great future for us through the birth of His one and only Son; the birth of Jesus Christ.  Through this birth we are guaranteed abundant life.  This in no way means life will be easy; we just don’t have to go it alone and we have hope.  His word says, “Never will I leave you.  Never will I forsake you.”  Never means never!  Rely on this assurance as you embark upon the holidays.

My staff and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Tonia Z. Hill & Staff
