Letters From Tonia

The Time Has Flown By!

Dear Bethany Families,

A heartfelt thank you to all of our students and families for the thoughtful gifts, sweet treats, kind notes, and generous support during Teacher Appreciation Week! Your kindness and appreciation truly made our staff feel celebrated and valued. We are so grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive school community. Thank you for helping make this week so special for our teachers and staff!

We are coming to the close of another school year. The time has flown by. While there has been much growth and change in every student, what has remained constant is my dedication to the ministry of our campus. My goal is for every student to learn and thrive academically, socially and spiritually.

The next five weeks will zip by rather quickly, so please save the following dates.

  • Friday, May 15th – Preschool Presents Chapel, is your toolbox packed with the right tools?.
  • Monday, May 18th-Friday, May 22nd – We have a week-long fundraiser at the Lazy Dog in Cerritos! Take the whole family and enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or desserts. Show them this flyer or use the code for your takeout order!
  • Tuesday, May 19th – Spirit Day. Wear your favorite sports and/or college team gear. It is also our Sports Banquet Night. All athletes and cheerleaders will enjoy a fun evening with great food as we celebrate the accomplishments of our Bulldog teams.
  • Friday, May 22nd – Chapel of the Arts. Please come join us as Middle School gives a performance, our select students from the music department will perform, preschool will sing their little hearts out, and so much more. It is also a 12 noon dismissal and there is no daycare. We will have the car line entrance from Los Coyotes Blvd.
  • Monday, May 25th – Our campus is closed in honor of Memorial Day.
  • Friday, May 29th – A Year In Review. During Chapel students will have an opportunity to share what was most memorable during the school year.
  • Thursday, June 4th – Is our final Bulldog Bonanza.
  • Friday, June 5th – We will honor specific students at our K-7th grade Awards Chapel. Eighth grade students will receive their awards at their graduation. Later that evening Preschool will have their TK graduation. Mrs. Robideaux and her team are planning a special evening as we celebrate the accomplishments of our ‘little leaders’.
  • Wednesday, June 10th – Is our annual end of the school year Carnival.
  • Thursday, June 11th – is the 8th grade graduation at 9AM, our last day of school, and a 12 noon dismissal, with a car line entrance from Los Coyotes Blvd. There will be no daycare.

In addition to the above and with all the excitement, students must remain focused academically. These final few weeks can be the difference in your child’s final grades. We can do this.

Registration is going quite well for both the Fall 2026-2027 school year and our summer program. It’s not too late to register. Remember, you can receive a referral credit if you tell a friend about Bethany School and they enroll for the school year!

I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events. Have a great summer and as always, it’s a great day to be a Bulldog.
