Hello Bethany Bulldogs,
This month marks the commencement of Bethany School field trips. Currently, I am accompanying Miss Chang and Miss Riegle on a Grand Canyon tour with their fifth-grade students. We are immersed in the awe-inspiring beauty of God’s creation, experiencing breathtaking vistas.
This month also signifies the initiation of our off-campus curriculum tours. In a few weeks, the eighth-grade students will embark on an East Coast tour, while the sixth-grade students will visit a working ranch known as Rawhide. Our seventh-grade students will attend a leadership camp at Mile High Pines. Our final trip will take place in April, with Mrs. Koet and Mrs. Francis leading their fourth-grade students to the state capital.
Local field trips are also scheduled. This Thursday, preschoolers will visit the Los Angeles Zoo to observe animals in their designated habitats. Next Monday, our 3rd graders are heading to the Heritage Museum and on Tuesday, our Kinder and 1st graders are heading to La Habra Theater to watch Miss Nelson Goes Missing! I kindly request that you extend your prayers for all of our excursions, both domestic and abroad.
This Friday, PTF will be hosting a Food Truck Movie Night, everyone is invited. This cherished tradition invites you to bring a lawn chair, blanket, and cash for a delish dinner while we gather and engage in fellowship under the stars. I look forward to seeing you.
Next week, representatives from Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) will visit Bethany School to review our Self Study and engage in discussions with parents, the Student Council, and staff. It is time for us to renew our accreditation. We are honored to have Mr. Endacott and his team assess our progress and ensure that we continue to uphold the highest standards of excellence in academics, social development, and spiritual growth.
As summer approaches, we eagerly anticipate the diverse and enriching experiences prepared for all students, from preschool through the incoming sixth grade. This summer, we will commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary with daily engaging activities, weekly off-campus excursions, and unexpected surprises. It promises to be an extraordinary summer.
Parents, have you solidified registration for the 2026-2027 school year? It’s not too late. My administration team and I are diligently planning for the upcoming academic year. Furthermore, we are refining our online learning platforms. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
As a school community, let us extend our prayers for our nation and seek divine guidance and sovereignty during this period. We also request continued prayers and divine intervention for Bethany School.
