Parents, “Thank You”, for the wonderful gifts you gave to my staff and I. We are grateful for your generosity.
Happy New Year! I hope you and your family enjoyed a peaceful holiday season and had time to celebrate the true joy of Christmas together. This time of year has a wonderful way of encouraging us to pause, reflect, and look forward with renewed hope.
As we begin 2026, my team and I are already preparing for the 2026–2027 school year, and it’s hard to believe Bethany School is entering its 79th year of serving our community. What a blessing that is.
As you consider the next steps in your child’s education – whether in preschool, elementary, or middle school – I encourage you to continue keeping Bethany School in your plans. We are an accredited campus through WASC, Western Association of Schools and Colleges. We have a full-time Education Specialist on campus for Bethany’s B.E.S.T. Program (Building Educational Success Together) and we have an on-campus Speech Therapist. Our teachers are credentialed, most are tenured, and our curriculum is designed to challenge, nurture, and prepare students for the demands of high school and beyond.
Recently, I received an email from a Bethany alumna family whose child will graduate from J. Serra High School in June 2026. They shared how grateful they are for the foundation their child received at Bethany—through our curriculum, accountability, enrichment experiences, and high standards—which enabled them to thrive throughout high school.
We are consistently proud of the paths our 8th grade graduates take. Last year, students moved on to schools such as Servite, Mater Dei, Ernest McBride, Wilson Wave, Millikan Quest, and others. It is always encouraging to hear how well they continue to do. Many of our alumni are now studying at universities such as USC, Berkeley, San Diego State, Michigan, Spelman, the University of New Hampshire, the University of Arizona, and more.
Early Bulldog Registration for currently enrolled students will begin on Monday, January 12th. Discounted rates will be available through January 16th; after that, regular registration fees will apply. Each year, we make a slight tuition adjustment to ensure we can continue offering the strong academic program, Christ-centered environment, and enrichment opportunities that set Bethany apart. While our registration fees will not increase, please Click Here for updated 2026–2027 tuition rates for preschool, K–2nd, 3rd–5th, and middle school. Scholarship application information will be sent home on February 10th. Scholarships are not guaranteed and limited to funding availability.
May God bless you and your family in this new year. I pray it brings peace, joy, and renewed purpose as you look ahead to the opportunities God has prepared for you.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tonia Hill
Principal
