Welcome Parents to a New School Year!
“Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been ‘Born Again’, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.”
1 Peter 1:22-23 NIV
Bethany School is celebrating its 79th year of Christian education in the community and I am excited to see God’s plan and purpose this year academically, socially and Spiritually. There is a new energy on our campus and it is palatable, a rebirthing of sorts. New staff, new curriculum, new vision and all in the best interest and growth of every student. Bethany School is set apart because of the following:
- Bethany School is a ministry of the church. My staff and I have a calling to educate all students while modeling the love of Christ and laying firm Biblical foundations.
- We are accredited through WASC, Western Association of Schools and Colleges. We work in excellence not only to maintain our accreditation, but because it’s what we do.
- We are a Future Focused campus. This means preparing and empowering students to believe in Christ, achieve academic excellence, and succeed in knowing their purpose in life.
We do this in the following ways:
- Preschool & TK – Foster Engagement – An introduction to careers through formative play. “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord” Jeremiah 29:11a
- K-2nd Grade – Spark Interest – A broad exposure to interests and careers. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” Philippians 1:6
- 3rd-5th Grade – Ignite a Fire Within – Building strategies to develop personal skills. “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us” Romans 12:6a
- Middle School – Launch Into the Future – Enabling students to plot a course for their future. “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans” Proverbs 16:3
Parents, I ask that you partner with me and your child’s teachers. Our collaboration is paramount and needed for the success of your child and our school. We need one another.
