Dear Bethany Bulldog Family,
“For I pass on to you what I received, which is of the utmost importance: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.” 1st Corinthians 15:3-5
April is more than Easter egg hunts, baskets and spring break. At Bethany School we get to celebrate the resurrection of our risen Savior. Please plan to join us for our Good Friday Chapel on Friday, April 18th from 8:30am-9:30am. It will be a wonderful time of singing and enjoying the hope we have in Christ Jesus.

There is so much happening this month so let’s get right to it!
We have begun the last quarter of the school year. Each student has an opportunity to maintain their grades or bring them up. My goal is for every student to apply themselves and make sure they give it 100%, no excuses.
Today the 7th grade students arrived at Alpine Retreat & Camp in Blue Jay, CA – just 3 miles from Lake Arrowhead. It is a Christian leadership camp. The students will have a wonderful time digging deep discovering their purpose. Please be in prayer for them, the staff and volunteers attending.
Last week was the Spelling Bee and our school hosted Santa Fe Springs Christian and Montebello Christian Schools. Our Bulldogs did a phenomenal job. This Thursday, selected Bethany students will represent our school at the Speech Meet hosted by Santa Fe Springs Christian School. I look forward to seeing how well our students perform by simply doing their best.
I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to our music teacher, Mr. Oscar. Last week he was away performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City on March 30th, 2025. Carnegie Hall is one of the oldest and most prestigious music venues in the country. Carnegie Hall’s motto is “How do you get to Carnegie Hall? PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!” Maybe someday we can see some of you performing on some of the country’s most prestigious stages as well!
Friday, April 11th is our Awards Chapel. We will honor and support students who academically, socially and spiritually have gone the extra mile in their academics and showing kindness to other students in the 3rd quarter. Chapel is from 8:30am-9:30am. Come out and support our Scholar Bulldogs!
Our 3rd through 8th grade students are sharpening their skills and preparing for the annual IOWA State Test, Monday, April 14th through Thursday, April 17th. Parents, please make sure your student receives a good night’s rest and a great breakfast along with a healthy snack each day. We want them to do their best.
Bethany School is rooted in tradition and our spring break always follows Easter Sunday. This year our campus will be closed April 21st – 25th. Please mark your calendars and plan accordingly.
Calling all Mothers & Sons. Save the date for our 1st annual Mother Son Night happening on Friday, May 16th! Our PTF President, Mrs. Natalie Robideaux, and her team have planned a wonderful evening for you. Flyers went out today highlighting all the fun for this memorable event. Make sure to sign up and pay BEFORE the deadline of May 7th in the front office. You won’t want to miss it!
Lastly, do not forget about our first ever Bowser Cup Golf Tournament! This will be an incredible day for people of all ages and skill levels to be able to participate in a day of Golf. Sign up HERE as a team, single play, or if you are able to sponsor! Please reach out to the front office if you have any questions!
Thank you for partnering with my staff and I. We cannot do what we do without your support. Your support is vital to the success of every student. Have a delightful restful Spring Break celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tonia Hill
Principal
