Dear Bulldog Family,
We made it to February, the LOVE month. Last week many celebrated Lunar New Year! This month we will continue the love with Black History Month. It is a new semester and there are many activities taking place. PTF begins the month with Bethany’s very first and very full Father Daughter Dance. Friday, February 7th at 6pm over 100 dads will escort their lovely daughters to an enchanted evening of elegance and fun. This event is completely sold out. What a wonderful tradition to begin with your daughter(s). Another tradition at Bethany is to honor our Moms. Preschool will begin by having a week long Moms Read-In and PTF will end the week with our annual Moms Muffin & Chapel morning. Friday, February 14th beginning at 7:45am all Moms are invited to enjoy a muffin, juice and/or coffee with their child. There will be photo opportunities and then we will head to Chapel by 8:30am for a wonderful time honoring our Bethany Moms. Don’t forget to wear your valentine’s day colors!
At the end of this month we have the opportunity to show some love to our whole school at our Open House on February 27th. Bethany Glows After Dark has become so much more than an open house. It is a chance to celebrate all of the students’ hard work and dedication to their growth. Every teacher and classroom goes above and beyond to showcase their accomplishments. Friday, February 28th is a half day for K-8 only; school will be out at noon, and we will offer daycare until 3:30 pm, at which time all K-8 students must be picked up.
Registration for the 2025-2026 fall school year is moving quite steadily. Applications are coming in daily and I am touring weekly. It is a compliment to the reputation and strong foundation Bethany has established with 75+ years of history and legacy. Parents, did you know if you refer a family to Bethany School and they enroll you will receive a referral credit towards your monthly tuition? This is applicable for preschool through eighth grade. Please see Mrs. Amy Coffey in the front office for more details. Speaking about tuition, beginning February 11th, you will have an opportunity to apply for a partial tuition scholarship. A link will be sent on Blackbaud for you to apply with Confidential Financial Services (a third party company). Please know scholarships are not guaranteed.
Please pray for our 6th and 7th grade students along with middle school staff as they are in Dinuba, CA for a mission trip called Gleanings For The Hungry. They left Sunday afternoon and we look forward to their return this Thursday. There will be a special Chapel to hear about their trip of service.
Safety remains a top priority for our campus. We continue to make improvements for the safety of our students and staff. I am in need of your support during drop off and pick up. Please slow down when you enter the campus from Los Coyotes Diagonal Blvd. and when you are turning onto the small one way service road parallel to Clark Blvd. Parents dropping off on the K-8 side, please slow down when pulling into the Church parking lot. Mr. Stan and his team are there to support you and help your kiddos make it safely on campus. Thank you in advance for slowing down.
Bethany School is a Future Focused campus. We have a Mission and Vision for every grade level and a word to encapsulate the levels of learning;
- CAPTIVATE: In preschool we Foster Engagement
- EXPLORE: K-2nd we Spark An Interest
- DISCOVER: 3rd-5th we Ignite A Fire Within
- EMPOWER: Middle School we Launch and Prepare our 6th-8th graders for their future
I am honored to be an intricate part of the goal and commitment to providing a strong educational foundation in a safe nurturing environment. This will not change. At our core, Bethany School is an extension of the Church and we are a mission. We work in excellence to help every student believe, achieve, and succeed.
It’s going to be a great month and an even better school year. As always, it’s a great day to be a Bulldog!
