Al Dorsey is in his thirteenth year teaching at Bethany School and is currently the K-8 PE Teacher and Athletic Director. He has over twenty years of experience and has earned a BA and MA. He enjoys the love that the teachers have for the kids at Bethany.

Mr. Dorsey resides in Long Beach with his wife, Charmaine, and children, Isaiah and Savannah. He attends Bethany Church and enjoys watching sports, playing basketball, and working out.

Ali Lengyel is in her third year at Bethany School and is currently serving as an instructional aide and a part of the daycare staff. She has five years of experience in education and has earned early childhood education credits. She loves developing relationships with the students and assisting them in expanding their knowledge and developing their own personal growth.

Mrs. Lengyel resides in Lakewood with her husband, Chris, and three children. She attends Dream City and enjoys crafting, reading, and hiking.

Amber Francis is in her tenth year teaching at Bethany School and is currently a fourth grade teacher. She has over eighteen years of teaching experience, has earned a BA as well as a minor and specialty in visual and performing arts. She also holds a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves the amazing school community and the support and encouragement to be innovative and creative in her teaching practices at Bethany.

Mrs. Francis resides in Huntington Beach with her husband, Paul, and children, Kyah and Kaley. She attends Refuge Calvary Chapel in Huntington Beach and enjoys running, yoga, and doing fun family activities.

Amy Coffey is in her tenth year at Bethany and currently works as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper. She has over fourteen years of experience in this field, has earned a BA, and holds a business software certification. She loves working with such an amazing team of leaders and educators.

Mrs. Coffey resides in Long Beach with her husband, Matt. She attends Bethany Church and enjoys swing dancing, traveling, and trying new food and recipes.

Arlene Gale is in her fifth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as our librarian. She has thirty-six years of experience teaching middle school language arts and has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and holds a single subject teaching credential. She loves the staff and students at Bethany School!

Mrs. Arlene resides in Long Beach with her husband, Brent, and has two grown children, Kirk and Katie. She enjoys reading, volunteering, and meeting new people.

Brionna Mulkey is in her eleventh year at Bethany School and is currently a second grade teacher. She has twelve years of experience in education and is in her third year teaching. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree as well as early childhood education credits. She loves being able to teach children about God’s word and watching them grow in their faith.

Miss Brionna attends Cottonwood Church and enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with loved ones.

Carrie DeYoung is in her fifteenth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as a third grade teacher. She has over sixteen years of experience in the education field. She has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and holds a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves being able to teach the kids about Jesus and show them how much purpose, love, and security there is in living life as a child of God. She feels so fortunate to work with a staff that also feels the same way.

Ms. DeYoung resides in Lakewood and has three children. She attends Bethany Church and enjoys gardening, camping, and knitting.

Christina Smoot is in her sixteenth year teaching at Bethany School. She has over seventeen years of teaching experience, has earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts, and holds a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves that she gets to fulfill her calling as a teacher in an environment that allows her to be open about her faith in Jesus Christ. She loves being able draw the Word of God into her daily conversations with students, staff, and parents. She is grateful for an administration that relies on the guidance of Holy Spirit and not just their own strengths.

Mrs. Smoot resides in Lakewood with her husband, Ryan and daughters, Coralyn and Raylan. She attends Arbor Road Church and enjoys walking as exercise, organizing, and going to the lake to cruise in her boat.

Deanne Hamby is in her third year at Bethany School and is currently serving as a preschool aide. She has five years of experience in an elementary after school program and is currently enrolled in continuing education courses. She loves the energy at Bethany and believes that the staff and students are wonderful.

Mrs. Deanne resides in Lakewood with her two wonderful children, Isabella & Jaxxon. She enjoys working out, cooking, and going out with family.

Diane Golden is in her twenty-seventh year at Bethany School. She has thirty-three years of teaching experience and has worked in administration for over eight years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree and holds single subject credential. She loves working with the staff, families, and especially the students. It gives her great joy.

Mrs. Golden attends Bethany Church and enjoys music, reading, and walking.

Edna Beck is in her thirtieth year at Bethany School and is currently serving in an administrative assistant role. She served Bethany in a volunteer role before being hired and has many years of experience as well as early childhood education credits. She loves the staff, the church, and being around others that have a heart for Bethany.

Mrs. Beck resides in Lakewood with her husband, Gary, and has a daughter, Erica, and two grandchildren. She attends Bethany Church and enjoys trips on the Harley, playing board games and cards, and relaxing at home with her dog, Roo.

Frankie Fitchett is in her thirteenth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as an administrative assistant.

Grace Oparah is in her fourteenth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as a preschool aide. She has thirty years of experience in the field and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree as well as early childhood education credits. She loves the ability and freedom to teach children through God’s word, so that they can believe, achieve, and succeed.

Mrs. Oparah resides in Long Beach and has four grown children and three grandchildren. She enjoys going to the movies, visiting families, and relaxing at home.

Grace Williams is in her third year at Bethany School and is currently serving as an instructional aide and a part of the day care staff. She has four years of experience in the education field and has earned early childhood education credits. She loves working with people who love God and love these kiddos as much as she does. Seeing these children everyday truly make her heart full of joy. Their smiles and laughter always make her day.

Mrs. Williams resides with her husband and attends Bethany Church. She enjoys singing, rollerblading, and visiting with family.

Heather Nesbit is in her seventeenth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as a TK teacher in the purple room. She has seventeen years of teaching experience and has earned early childhood education credits. She loves that as a Christian teacher at Bethany, she gets to do more than just inspire her students to love academics. She also gets to make a real and lasting impact in their hearts and lives. She strives to help them grow in character and wisdom and experience the greatest joy when Christ works directly in their hearts.

Mrs. Heather resides in Cypress with her husband and three daughters. She attends Cypress Neighborhood Church and enjoys shopping, organizing, and staying home.

Jasmin Park is in her third year teaching at Bethany School and is a kindergarten teacher. She loves the small class sizes that let her work closely with her students and give them the attention and care they deserve.

Mrs. Park resides in Cerritos and attends Mustard Seed Community Church. She enjoys cooking/baking, nature walks, and visiting cafes.

Jonathan Trogman is in his second year at Bethany School and is part of the day care staff. He has a year of experience in education and is pursuing a multiple subject teaching credential. He loves fostering connections with the students. He says that working at Bethany inspired him to pursue a career in elementary teaching.

Mr. Jonny resides in Lakewood with his wife and attends Bethany Church. He enjoys photography, weightlifting, and jiu jitsu.

Kacie Cobb is in her fourth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as our middle school science and health teacher. She has over six  years of experience in the educational field and has earned a BA in Communication Public Affairs as well as a minor in Psychology. She also has a multiple subject teaching credential and a Master of Arts in education. She loves all the wonderful students and staff and feels that there is a great sense of community. She couldn’t be more blessed to be a part of Bethany.

Ms. Cobb attends Cottonwood Church in Los Alamitos.

Kami Archuleta is in her fourth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as a preschool aide. She has four years of experience in the education field and has earned early childhood education credits. She loves working at Bethany school because there are great opportunities to witness the wonderful love of Jesus onto the children. She believes our students have the encouragement to be able to pursue their creativity in the pathways they are interested in.

Mrs. Archuleta resides in Anaheim with her husband and attends Cornerstone Church. She enjoys singing, painting, and cleaning.

Lyn Durst is in her sixth year of volunteering at Bethany School. She helps out with our lunch program and Thursday snack sale. She loves all the kids and watching them grow up. Mrs. Lyn resides in Long Beach and has a daughter, son, and five grandchildren.

She attends Bethany Church and enjoys doing puzzles, sewing, and watching baseball, football and hockey games.

Marissa Macias is in her first year at Bethany School and is a preschool aide. She has a year of experience in education and has earned early childhood education credits. She loves creating fun memories with the kids!

Miss Macias resides in Long Beach and attends New Life Community Church Artesia. She enjoys reading, weight training, and guitar playing.

Megan Koet is in her eleventh year at Bethany School. She is currently serving as a fourth grade teacher. She has over twelve years of experience and has earned her AA. She loves that at Bethany we are truly a family. 

Mrs. Koet resides in Long Beach with her husband, Charnold, and three children, Taylor, Makenzie, and Harper. She attends Bethany Church and enjoys watching her children doing the activities they love, reading, and going on dates with her husband.

Michelle Lam is in her second year at Bethany School and is a preschool aide. She has two years of experience in education and has earned early childhood education credits. She loves helping students learn and grow.

Ms. Lam resides in Long Beach with her husband, Paul, and son, Adrien. She enjoys traveling, cooking, cycling class, and outdoor activities.

Michelle Veazey is in her seventh year at Bethany School and is currently our B.E.S.T. Director. She has over thirty-one years of experience in the field of education and has worked in early education for twenty years as a preschool teacher and preschool director. She has earned early education credits and holds a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Master of Arts. She loves working in a faith-filled environment with staff that love the Lord, have a passion to help students be the best they can, work hard, and are fun to work with at Bethany.

Mrs. Veazey resides in Lakewood with her husband, Peter, and children Shawn, Brett, and Brooke. She attends Bethany Church, and enjoys working out, going to the movies, and reading.

Mika Storey is in her second year at Bethany School and is currently serving students as a Speech Language Pathologist. She has over eleven years of experience in education, has earned a BS from Cal State Fullerton and a MS from Nova Southeastern University. She is licensed by the state of California and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She loves the collaboration between teachers and support personnel and the ability to support the WHOLE child.

Mrs. Storey resides in Long Beach with her husband, Richard, and two young sons, Nixon and Clyde. She enjoys going to the bay, listening to podcasts, and finding good coffee spots.

Natalie Robideaux is in her eighteenth year at Bethany School and is currently our preschool director and runs our kindergarten through fourth grade Spanish Clubs. She has over twenty-one years of experience and has earned Early Childhood Education Credits as well as a BS. She loves being able to serve families in our community through the ministry that is Bethany School. Bethany is a place filled with joy, love, and encouragement. Seeing students come to know Jesus at such a young age and watching them grow in their faith over the years, overcome challenges, find their own passion, and continue on their journey is so rewarding. Being a small part of the journey in their early years has been a joy to watch. 

Mrs. Robideaux resides in Long Beach with her husband and three children. She attends Cornerstone Church, and enjoys family time, gardening, and photography.

Nicole Cecil is in her twelfth year at Bethany School and is currently the Director of Staff and Students. Mrs. Cecil resides in Artesia with her husband and son. She attends Long Beach Christian Reformed Church, and enjoys baking and gardening.

Nilda Corwin is in her eleventh year at Bethany School and is currently an instructional aide and a part of the day care staff. She has over eleven years of experience in this field. She loves that Bethany is a loving, hardworking and trustworthy environment where she believes that you are treated like a family. 

Mrs. Corwin resides in Long Beach with her husband, Steve, and has a daughter, Kami. She attends Cornerstone Church, and enjoys reading and hiking as well as arts and crafts.

Renee’ Mmeje is in her fourth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as a preschool aide. She has over eight years of experience and has earned a BA and Masters. She enjoys the loving and caring environment that she experiences as a parent with a child enrolled at Bethany, and looks forward to giving the same feeling and support she has received to the children and their parents.

Mrs. Renee’ resides in Long Beach with her husband and four children (three girls and one boy) and attends Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood. She enjoys Hiking, swimming, and Xtreme step aerobics.

Robyn Rivers is in her twenty-sixth year teaching at Bethany School and is currently the middle school math teacher. She loves the ability to connect with students and their families to help them succeed academically and spiritually while meeting the unique needs of the students she is blessed to teach. 

Mrs. Rivers resides in Long Beach with her husband, Jamal, and children, Niles and Hudson. She attends Cottonwood Church and enjoys singing, online shopping, and napping.

Sara Mills is in her ninth year at Bethany School and is currently a kindergarten teacher and the school’s Marketing Director. She has over sixteen years of teaching experience and is a graduate of California State Dominguez Hills where she earned her BA in Liberal Studies and a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves the opportunity and time given to collaborate with other teachers. She also loves that she gets to teach and discipline with God’s Word at the forefront.

Mrs. Mills resides in Buena Park with her husband, Jeff, and daughter, Leah. She attends Fullerton Free Church, and enjoys baking, camping, and visiting National Parks.

Sheila Chubbs is in her fourteenth year at Bethany School and is currently a preschool teacher in the green room. She has over twenty-five years of experience and has earned Early Childhood Education Credits. She loves being able to talk about God everyday.

Mrs. Sheila resides in Bellflower and has three grown children. She enjoys journaling, writing, and reading.

Deuteronomy 5:29 (NIV)  Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!

Stacy Aldredge is in her twelfth year at Bethany School and is currently a second grade teacher. She has fifteen years of experience, has earned her BA, and holds a multiple subject teaching credential. She loves working at Bethany School because the entire staff’s focus is to develop students into becoming not only academic achievers but also guiding them spiritually.

Stacy resides in Lakewood with her daughter, Mikeala. She attends Prevailing in Christ Ministries and enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her daughter.

Stan Picas is in his sixth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as an instructional aide and is part of the day care staff. He has eight years of experience in the field and loves being able to share the love of Christ with the kids and see the great education they are getting.

Mr. Picas resides in Long Beach with his wife, Marlene, and together they have one child. He attends Calvary Chapel Signal Hill and enjoys going to the gym, paddle boarding, and action figure collecting.

Tonia Z. Hill is in her twenty-fifth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as our principal. She has over twenty years of administrative experience, has earned her MA which includes a specialization in early childhood education, and is a certified adjunct professor. She loves supporting the teachers and making a difference in the lives of the students.

Mrs. Hill resides in Long Beach with her husband, and has three adult children. She enjoys writing and trying new restaurants as well as walking, hiking, and exercising.

Tracee Kersey is in her tenth year at Bethany School and is currently serving as a preschool aide. She has over twenty-four years of experience in education and has earned early childhood education credits. She loves working at a Christian school with the kids, parents and teachers. She says they are like a family.

Mrs. Tracee resides in Long Beach with her husband, Tim, and they have two children, Aiden and Makayla. She attends Calvary Chapel Downey and enjoys eating out and hanging out with friends.
